Most sod that dies in its first summer wasn't installed badly — it was the wrong grass for the light it gets. Bermuda wants full sun. St. Augustine tolerates shade. Zoysia sits between them.
We watch how the sun actually moves across your yard before recommending anything, and we grade before we lay so water drains away instead of pooling under new turf.
It comes down almost entirely to sunlight. Full sun favours Bermuda, heavy shade favours St. Augustine, and Zoysia handles a mix. We'll walk the yard and tell you what will actually survive there.
